Premium Activated Carbon for Fish Tank Filters (3 lbs Fine Mesh Bag)

Comprehensive Overview

SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE! Our premium carbon is super cleaned and is HUNGRY TO RAPIDLY TRAP CONTAMINANTS and TOXINS from your aquarium water. This ensures a clearer, odor-free aquarium while maintaining exceptional water quality to help your aquatic friends thrive. (Our activated carbon aquarium granules are small in size and work best with our FINE MESH FILTER MEDIA BAGS, ASIN: B0737Z7DQY)

BREAKTHROUGH! Unlike other aquarium activated carbons, which are often packed with ash that rinsing won’t remove, our carbon is rigorously cleaned to keep the pores clear. After heat activation, our carbon filter media undergoes a deep cleaning process.

ELIMINATES ODOR AND DISCOLORATION! Our activated carbon, also known as activated charcoal, removes foul odors from freshwater, saltwater aquariums, and even pond water, leaving a crisp, clean smell. Our aquarium charcoal has a large internal surface area that rapidly adsorbs dissolved pollutants from the water, including yellow-brown tint, toxins, chlorine, most medications, and some heavy metals.

CLEANER AND LASTS LONGER! Unlike typical bulk activated charcoal, which can leave black dust on your hands and sink, our premium carbon is easy to rinse since we clean and wash out a majority of the dust and fines. Our exclusive cleaning process opens up large surface areas inside each granule, allowing it to trap more organic compounds, making it last longer.

COMPLIMENTARY MEDIA BAG: This package includes a free reusable fine mesh media bag to use with our carbon or other filter media. The mesh bag keeps the carbon contained while still allowing water to flow through. Our mesh media bags are perfect for pond charcoal.
